About Us

Dr. Dustin Davis and his wife, Catherine purchased a mixed animal veterinary practice and operated for over 11 years. The practice had not offered any advanced reproductive services, and over that time, Dr. Davis and his wife birthed and developed a thriving reproductive business.  The reproduction side of the business grew so much that in 2022 they decided to specialize in livestock reproduction and opened Dynamic Concept Services. DCS provides advanced reproductive services to cattle, small ruminants and deer at the barn in Rockwood, PA or on-farm.

Dr. Davis graduated from the University of Georgia (Go DAWGS!) and worked in a Virginia large animal practice for two years after graduation. There he provided conventional embryo flush services to cattle. In 2011, he purchased a veterinary clinic in southwestern PA, servicing farm animal clients and working in the clinic providing small animal services as well while continuing embryo flush and transfer services. In 2012, he traveled to Australia to learn laparoscopic AI and embryo transfer in small ruminants. In 2015, he acquired his certification as a certified embryologist through AETA. In addition to conventional embryo flush and transfer, he expanded to include IVF services. As the advanced reproduction portion of the business grew, he decided to focus on livestock reproduction, opening DCS.

DCS Facility and Mobile Services

At our facility in Rockwood, we are able to provide cow donor housing and day-of haul-in services. We provide a range of services here including conventional embryo flushing and transfer, oocyte collection for IVF, laparoscopic AI and semen collection.

We know that some clients would rather work from their facility and some of our patients (looking at you cervids) cannot travel so we also provide on-farm services with our mobile labs.

What is a certified embryologist and why should I use one?

The American Embryo Transfer Association (AETA), has established performance standards for the embryo transfer industry to ensure the certified practitioner meets or exceeds these standards while performing the procedures involved with the practice of embryo transfer.

In order to be certified, a practitioner must hold either a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or a Ph.D. in animal reproductive physiology. The individual must pass the AETA Certification Exam and maintain continuing education hours each year to retain certified status.

All of this to make sure you are getting the best embryo service possible.
